Mivi Octave Speaker : Hands On Review

If you are looking for an affordable Bluetooth speaker in the market right now, chances are that you have come across a lot of options. You can go for a small, compact speaker like the JBL Go 2 which lets you listen to your music on the go. Same as that Mivi has launched their new 16W Bluetooth speaker 'Mivi Octave'.

Design

At the first look of this mini Bluetooth speaker, the speaker looks [retty tiny. It can easily fit your hand, as the shape of the speaker is cylindrical and can also take outdoor easily. The buttons are also provided for power, volume up and down and pause-play buttons are there. At the bottom of the speaker, there is a 3.5mm aux connector with a micro USB port of charging with a red color LED light.

Bluetooth Range

As mentioned in the specifications, the speaker is said to be rum in Bluetooth version 4.2 with a range of up to 30 feet. When I try its Bluetooth connectivity, the speaker can get the radio waves up to 2 rooms, but when I entered the third room the sound starts having a glitch and sometimes it will be disconnected.

Performance

After listening to a few tracks, I came to know that the speaker has a best bass quality and the vocals have also listened in the best quality. The speaker has the ability to connect two smartphones. And also you can play music on the two Mivi Octave at a time.

The speaker can easily connect to SmartTV, any phone (compatible with Bluetooth), and any laptop (which have a Bluetooth option). The speaker gives the high quality of sound while listening through aux cable.

The only thing which I don't like it's microphone when used for calling. The outgoing calls will have a very low sound and sometimes the user's sound will repeat itself.

Verdict

The Mivi Octave offers decent audio output as long as you aren't blasting it at full volume. It has a good quality speaker and is loud enough to fill a small room. The bass quality is impressive, the bass will be boosted when the volume increases.

Mivi Collar Earphones : Hands On Review

Bluetooth earphones are very popular these days and they are easy to use and carry. But some of the earphones can give the best sound quality in the budget price wireless earphones.

As same the new company Mivi had brought their wireless earphones, Mivi Collar.

Design

When we look at the design, it is the wireless neckband with a unique design. The neck cord of this Collar is flexible and can adjust to any size you want.

At both front sides, there is a thick cylindrical shaped area to hold the earbuds with a magnet. At the left, there are volume buttons and on the right side, there is a primary mic with the power button and the logo of the company Mivi.

The length of the earphone leads is large and easily plugged in your ears. I specially love the design of this Mivi Collar.

Sound Quality

When I use this Mivi Collor for the first time, the sound quality was the best as compared to other wireless earphones. The vocals listen are the best volume. The bass quality of the earphones is the best.

When you join both the earphones together, are there is a magnet attached to their earpiece, you get the lower voice of the music you played. Also, these earphones have the noise cancellation feature, which makes this budget wireless earphones the top at this price.

Performance

This Mivi Collar is the best quality wireless neckband earphones. There is also a feature which immerses yourself in the music with its True-to-Life HD Stereo quality earphones.

Also, this Mivi Collar has the latest 4.1 Bluetooth Wireless Technology, you can seamless connections with Bluetooth up to 30 feet away. And there is also a featu1`re of Dual-Pairing which can connect two Bluetooth devices easily. The earphones have IPX 4.0 sweat proof system and CVC 6.0 for best noise cancellation.

Battery Life

The battery life of this Mivi Collar was extremely good. At a full charge, with 60% volume, the earphones can last up to 12hrs. For charging there is a USB Port, which can easily charge your earphones within 90 mins. While using these earphones for calling, it gives better results up to 14hrs.

Verdict

The only issue we faced is with the dual pairing setup. You have to close the Bluetooth on the first device and only then you can go into the pairing mode on the earphones. Once the second device is paired, Mivi Collar can connect to both simultaneously.

Apart from dual pairing, other things we loved about the Mivi Collar include the lightweight design, premium appearance, and solid build quality. With volume levels at 60%, we regularly got 9 hours of battery life on a single charge.
